Bridging the Gender Gap in Leadership
A 1-Day Intensive Guide

As learning and development leaders we know how crucial diverse, inclusive culture and leadership are to driving innovation and organizational success. Yet, despite the significant emphasis on these issues, women, especially women of color, continue to face barriers to entering and advancing in leadership roles.
It’s not enough to talk about the problem and “prioritize” improvement. We must focus on the specific actions L&D leaders can take that dismantle barriers and drive changes that open doors for individuals, improve organizational outcomes, and provide a more equitable working environment for women in the workplace.
Bridging the Gender Gap in Leadership, a new one-day Intensive taking place the day before the Learning 2023 Conference, is designed with these changes in mind. The Intensive provides a deep dive into the challenges women face in advancing their careers, with a focus on the specific practical actions learning leaders can take that mitigate and overcome these unique hurdles.
You will learn from dynamic L&D leaders and collaborate with peers as you:
- Examine gender-based barriers and biases, including the additional challenges faced by BIPOC women
- Explore strategies for identifying and developing future women leaders
- Engage with peers to craft solutions to common challenges women confront as they seek to advance
- Equip yourself and others in your organization with tools that foster allyship
- Empower yourself and your team with tools to support each other’s growth
Invest a day, and leave with the knowledge, skills, and solutions to drive positive change and support diversity in leadership across the L&D field. Bridging the Gender Gap in Leadership takes place on Monday, December 4, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Separate fee-based registration is required.
