906 Creating a Culture of Learning: Podcasts as a Learning Solution

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM ET
Thursday, December 7

In today’s fast-paced work environments, many employees struggle to keep up with the latest tools and trends in their field. In some cases, employees lack the time, motivation, support from leaders, and access to effective training and resources. This can make it difficult for employees to stay relevant and competitive in the job market; it also leaves them feeling stuck, unmotivated, and disengaged. Organizations need to provide employees with access to convenient learning opportunities and resources they need to grow and develop in their career.

In this session you will explore how to supplement traditional professional development by incorporating a more flexible and accessible way to learn utilizing podcasts. You will discover how podcasts can inspire employees to get in the mindset to learn, promote active learning, establish motivation to develop their skills, and bridge the skills gap. You will recognize how employees can take an experiential approach to learning, apply what they learned, and feel empowered and connected to their work.

You will leave this session with actionable insights and practical resources for establishing a podcast for professional development along with strategies for leveraging podcasts to meet the professional growth needs of employees.

In this session you will learn to:

  • Recognize the benefits of podcast-based learning for professional development and employee engagement
  • Identify best practices for leveraging podcasts to align with employees’ personal and professional goals
  • Discover tips for encouraging employee participation and feedback on podcast learning
