704 Great Leaders’ Superpower? They Are Supremely Human

1:45 PM - 2:45 PM ET
Tuesday, November 8

Among the Learning Guild’s most valuable resources are our Guild Masters, experienced practitioners who have spent their professional lives working with teams to troubleshoot performance problems, create and implement solutions, make decisions about purchases, and otherwise enact learning-related projects. They are generous with their experiences, often writing and presenting for Guild’s (and other) industry publications and events; many of them have authored books. A characteristic they all share is their acknowledged significant contribution to the learning field.

In this panel discussion, the Guild Masters onsite at Learning 2022—among them Jane Bozarth, Will Thalheimer, Bob Mosher, Megan Torrance, and Frank Nguyen—will gather to discuss their own experiences with successful workplace leaders, with a focus on positives:

  • What characteristics do they share?
  • What actual behaviors did they demonstrate, and what effect did those behaviors have on others and the success of teams and projects?
  • What can they teach us about day-to-day leadership?

The panel will share real-world stories showing that most often, great leaders have cultivated qualities that make them supremely human, not superhuman.
