Tracks: Practices
The value of a remote workforce was realized during the pandemic. However, along with the benefits came the complexities of onboarding remote and hybrid workforces. This session covers several strategies around creating engaging and equitable onboarding experiences in our new post-pandemic reality. What will your strategy be?
In this session we will go through a case study which will show the evolution of our hybrid onboarding solution. We’ll start with defining the work style options we’ve empowered our employees to choose from and the impact it made to their engagement. We’ll uncover what we’ve learned from experimenting with a mix of in-person and virtual experiences and the key elements for consideration. And we’ll end with where our model stands today, and how the mistakes, misses, and blind spots contributed to our understanding of the real needs of our employees. You’ll come away with tips and strategies to add to your own evolving models.
In this session, you will learn:
- The importance of day one, week one, and month one
- How to navigate live, virtual, and hybrid experiences
- The blind spots we can’t believe we missed
- How to scale onboarding a global hybrid workforce
