Tracks: Strategies

Due to shifts in learning due to the pandemic and emerging metaverses, learning leaders know virtual reality (VR) is growing quickly. VR takes training to a new dimension. But how do you get started? What questions do you need to ask? What are important considerations and mistakes to avoid? How is designing and developing training for VR different than other modalities?

This session will help you to develop a successful strategy for training using VR. You’ll learn to identify decisions and options for design, development, and deployment. During every stage of the project, there are important considerations: Which tools to use, what skills are required, and more. Together, we will explore how to quick-start a VR project.

In this session, you will learn:

  • The best types of training for VR
  • What tools are available, and the skills required
  • Storyboarding and different development paths
  • Important considerations for optimal learner experience—and what to avoid
