207 Understand & Apply Modern Learning Practice to Your Design

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET
Tuesday, December 5

The way we work has changed—and workplace learning needs to reflect these changes. This means adopting modern learning practices and recognizing how the traditional ways we have developed learning need to change. Business wants more from the learning functions, and being able to prove what you do and how you do it has become essential for the learning professional.

In this session we’ll look at how learning has changed and how building capacity in the workplace is as important as ability to the learning function. Too often left until the end of a business change, we’ll look at how learning can become the trusted friend in the business, operating as a business partner instead of an order taker. Most importantly, people at this session will take away a range of tactics and models which you will be able to apply from Day 1 when you are back at work.

In this session you will learn:

  • Why learning needs to adapt to the changing marketplace
  • How to develop learning in a hybrid world
  • Why your learning strategy needs to change
