Kozetta Chapman

Kozetta Chapman is a learning professional who loves collaborating with others to develop strategies that are effective, innovative, and transformative. She is a manager of technical operations training at American Airlines and leads an amazing team of program developers and learning support analysts who support the training needs of thousands of team members. At American, Kozetta champions the initiative to increase diversity within the Technical Operations space of the airline through recruitment, development and support of individuals who are historically underrepresented in the aviation industry. With more than 20 years of experience in learning and development, Kozetta believes in the value and impact of training and makes every effort to develop training programs that are impactful, intentional and thought-provoking. Prior to her role at American Airlines, Kozetta was the training director for an international legal services company and a professor at the University of Oklahoma. Most recently, Kozetta was a contributing author for the Association of Talent Development’s 2020 publication ìLeading the Learning Function: Tools and Techniques for Organizational Impact.î
