Sue Mackey

Sue Mackey is the vice president of talent management within Training and Leadership Development at YMCA of the USA. Sue is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in nonprofit management, talent management, and leadership development. In her current role with YMCA of USA, she provides leadership and executive management to enterprise-wide educational programs that advance the leadership competencies and practices for the national YMCA organization. She is responsible for leading the strategy for designing and developing the foundational tools and processes for all YMCAs to use to Inspire, Develop, and Retain YMCA staff. Sue has an undergraduate degree from the New School University and a master’s degree in social service administration from the University of Chicago.
