Thirty Under 30
At Learning 2023, we recognize how important it is to have strong learning leadership. That’s why we not only place value on today’s leaders but also look to build the next generation of learning leaders in our field via our Thirty Under 30 program.
Through this program we recognize and provide special scholarship for 30 learning professionals under the age of 30, with the goal of supporting the visibility, voice, and development for the future generation of learning leaders.

Each member of the program receives:
- Exclusive Thirty Under 30 sessions, led by alumni of previous Thirty Under 30 programs
- Unique development and benchmarking activities with peers
- Interactive time with key speakers and other learning leaders
- Unique opportunities to participate in mentoring activities
- Key roles at Learning 2023 as leaders and facilitators
- A major discount to Learning 2023
- A complimentary 1-year membership to the Learning Guild’s Learning Leaders Alliance
We select 30 learning colleagues who meet these criteria:
- Born after December 4, 1993 (You must be under 30 during Learning 2023)
- Working in the learning field
- Interested in developing your career in the learning field
- Supported by your employer to participate in this program and their willingness to pay a reduced tuition ($995) and travel expenses
- Willing and excited to participate in a number of pre-event and event activities focused on our Thirty Under 30 Group
- Willing to play a role at Learning 2024 as a session leader
- Willing to participate in mentoring activities at Learning 2024
- High energy, outgoing, and raring to network with new colleagues
Many have described the program as a life changing experience that advanced their careers in ways that wouldn’t have otherwise been possible. Past participants have stayed in contact and made lasting professional relationships that they carry on today. If you qualify for the program or know of a colleague who would be a good fit, we highly encourage you to apply to be a part of the 2023 cohort!
