602 Building Training Cohorts in Teams

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET
Wednesday, December 6

Don’t have an LMS? Need a way to house content and create the connection and collaboration that cohort learning offers? Look no farther than the tool that most companies already have—Microsoft Teams.

When we were looking for a tool that could house our communication, create the collaborative feel of a learning cohort, and provide tools to help instruction flow for our learners, we found that Teams was the best spot to do all of this.

In this session, we will explore how to create a training cohort template in Teams. The session will provide an overview of the tools available to create a learning environment within your organization, even if you don’t have an LMS. I will share an example of a learning cohort, show you how to set the cohort up, and step you through communication and learning strategies. All while sharing hints and tricks for resolving common challenges.

In this session, you will learn:

  • About creating a learning and collaborative environment
  • How to create a template training cohort
  • How to use the features already available to you in Teams
  • What engages learners and keeps them on track with the Teams cohort template
  • How to excite your learners in their training adventure
