Driving Career Development Conversations

How do you effectively engage associates in potential career opportunities when you (as the leader) don’t know much about the other areas of the business? How do you effectively guide them or provide insight when you don’t have the knowledge?

At Coke Florida, we took a practical online approach to providing an interactive tool that is available to leaders and associates. The Interactive Career Journey tool provides a day-in-the-life description for the various roles across the organization, at all levels. Associates can explore on their own, and leaders can use the tool to help facilitate career development conversations. This session shares the process of creating and developing the Interactive Career Journey tool at Coke Florida.
