111 Engaging Learners: Unleashing the Power of Social Collaborative Learning

9:45 AM - 10:45 AM ET
Tuesday, December 5

Are your virtual learning sessions falling short in holding participants’ attention? In today’s fast-paced, distraction-laden world, keeping participants engaged is the crux of effective L&D. Join us as we explore different ways to get your audience involved, leveraging the unique capabilities and limitations of virtual learning platforms.

Join us as we involve the audience in sharing their experiences, challenges, and successes in creating engaging virtual learning environments. Together, we’ll redefine the future of L&D and pave the way for more interactive and impactful virtual learning experiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to transform your training approach and drive engagement to new heights.

In this session you will:

  • Gain an understanding of attention spans and why this is important for learning
  • See social and collaborative learning as a solution: Learn best practices to combat the many distractions that can hinder engagement
  • Identify limitations and share what works for you in virtual platforms, actively contributing to the conversation on what is working, not working, and what is needed from virtual platforms to create the right moments to keep participants locked in
  • Put theory into practice: Learn how the NYL L&D team experienced these challenges and their process for selecting a purpose-built platform for learning
