901 How to Lead & Inspire a Creative Team

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM ET
Thursday, December 7

Do you find yourself leading a highly creative eLearning team and find a disconnect? How do you inspire those creative team members to do their best design work and provide good constructive feedback on those designs?

In this session I will go over how to close the gap of frustration and provide strategies on how to effectively connect, critique, and inspire your creative team. We will focus on two areas: How to provide a creative team feedback that will be well received and how to inspire your design team to move forward and develop their best work. Art and design direction does not have to be hard. This session will provide some tips and tricks on how to be an effective leader and inspire your creative team, even if you have no creative bone in your body.

In this session you will learn:

  • How to provide a clear and well-received design critique
  • How to go to bat for your team and support their design ideas in client meeting
  • What kind of leadership styles creatives need in order to thrive
  • How to inspire and connect with your creative team
