308 Support Employee Performance: Use AI to Manage & Deliver Content in the Moment of Need

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM ET
Tuesday, December 5

One of the biggest challenges for organizations right now comes from the vast amount of information and digital content that is available, often across knowledge hubs, sharepoints, and LRS, LMS, and LXP systems. AI may already be supporting your training and support strategy, or you may just be starting out on this journey.

In this session we will explore how all this information and content can be utilized, through AI, to full effect—supporting employee performance and even enabling them to find the right subject matter expert in the moment of need.

In order to offer performance support for employees in the moment of need, employees must have access to information and get answers to their questions, effectively and efficiently. We will look at the two sides to this challenge and explore how this might affect your organization’s training strategy and roadmap. First, we will explore how AI technology allows organizations to manage and keep vast amounts of digital content organized and up to date. Second, we will look at how employees can be empowered to access and find the right information and answers to their questions, quickly, in the moment of need. Finally, we will explore how particular contextualization engines and language models allow a new, more ‘intelligent’ search functionality that will surface the right information and answers, and from almost any source file format, without any tagging or organizing by hand.

In this session you will learn:

  • How different AI tools can be deployed for different tasks in order to manage, surface, and provide content and answers for employees
  • What employee performance support in your organization and training strategy might look like, utilizing AI tools alongside other training strategies
  • What key advances in AI enable organizations to deliver as part of their overall training strategy, and thus what conversations to seek with suppliers and vendors
