1003 Aligning Your Learning Programs to Business Goals

9:15 AM - 10:15 AM ET
Thursday, December 7

Do you find it difficult to clearly show internal stakeholders how learning content aligns to your organization’s business strategy? Do you want to show the strategic value of the learning you develop? Learn to make your expertise and value visible in the larger context of your organization by showing how your learning programs align with goals set by leadership.

This session explores how you can use organizational goals and strategy to plan, measure, and justify your learning solutions. We’ll share examples of how we gained leadership support for several initiatives by using the organization’s strategic goals as guidance to measure and communicate results. We’ll discuss how these strategies could apply to your team, and we’ll share ideas and a framework for how to communicate the value of your learning programs using your unique organizational goals.

In this session you will learn:

  • How to use business strategies and goals to guide the design, development, and evaluation of learning content
  • How to gain leadership support by proving the value of your learning programs with goals tied to business strategy
  • A framework that supports you as a learning professional to communicate the value your work brings to the organization
