Gerry Souser

Gerry Souser is a learning program manager at Capital One. In this capacity, Gerry is the development lead for the Executive Development Accelerator (EDA), a program focused on developing the next generation of general managers and senior business leaders for the company. Through individualized participant development consulting, the EDA addresses thematic needs such as scaling leadership, executive presence, and emotional intelligence for 15 executive business analysts.

Previously, Gerry owned associate talent development efforts for a 200+ product management organization to include launching and facilitating a pilot eight-week product foundations bootcamp and mentoring program to support associates making the career transition into product management. Due to its success, this bootcamp has since been scaled to become an enterprise program. Before joining Capital One, Gerry was heavily involved in the development and scaling of both national and international leadership training programs for youth and young adults through the Boy Scouts of America and the World Organization of the Scout Movement respectively. This includes the creation and launch of the Interamerican Leadership Training (ILT), which has directly trained 700+ young adults from 50+ countries around the world. Gerry holds a bachelor’s in management with a minor in leadership from George Mason University.
